This site is very new to me and im too young to remember what the internet was like when this was the norm so pardon my attempts to assimilate if they seem strange!! Anyway heres some info:
December 31- A very very happy last day of 2025! This wasnt the WORST year for me, especially compared to others, but Im still happy to move on from it. Hold on just realised this should go above the other paragraph lemme move it OKAY!Anyway, yeah Im happy to have the new year. In Scotland (hello im scottish by the way cant believe I didnt write that anywhere by now) we have a belief that the first person to enter your door after the bells will either bring you good luck or bad luck. Im not sure anyone does it anymore but from what I recall, a dark haired person would be good luck since they dont look like a viking? My mum told me that but it doesnt sound 100% true hahaha We dont really do this tradition especially not after the countdown because we are early sleepers haha but our usual guest is bald so I was wondering what that would bring. I like to believe it brings whimsy. Im going to write some intentions I have for this site, which I suppose is sort of like a resoloution but I dont really like those so im just going to call it a fun little list, and then it means anyone that comes across this can try and imagine what this site is SUPPOSED to look like hahaha
Theres defos more but we have people coming round soon so I dont know if I have enough time to sit here pondering haha. Quick side note I have been playing HypnoSpace Outlaw cuz it was on the steam sale and I have been absoloutely loving it!! Its basically if u dont know a game about 1990s internet but in like a more sci fi world and omggg its beautiful, highly reccomend if ur a fan of browsing sites on here then go play it. oh I can hear our guests outside oopsies anyway the devs done a great job (side note for future me maybe a review area would b fun) all the pages feel so authentic and theyre pretty inspiring even if some of them r intentionally janky looking. I think its charming. Okay gonna go now but happy new year! Cngrats on makng it another year, im proud of u :D and of me too, pretty rough road if I say so myself hehe. Gonna go try and put a cute lil image at the top of my page now for new years so if its there congrats to me and if its not then shshshshsshshshh
December 26- I have not forgotten about you neocities! With my new laptop Ive been checking out tons of cool places where my brain can slow down and take its time, but I still wanna build a cool thing here! I already finished all the free lessons on w3schools though so I am a bit stuck. I know theres so many html resources out there but whenever I boot up my laptop I see my steam games before anything else and suddenly im 4 hours deep into another bg3 session so thats an issue. workin on it tho! Also christmas sucks if youre depressed so thats made things a bit of a drag, but this update is proof enough to me that im still committed! if any1 has any reccs on learning resources drop em uhhhh I dont have a comment box yet but theres probably some way to contact on here. or just show a pigeon this page and send it off with a scroll Im sure itll make its way here eventually. ANYWAY! i shall depart once again see you all (the 33 views I got on my website that may have been majority me) in probably another month teehee
